TRC Inc.’s expertise lies in services for vehicular testing for R&D and certification. Safety, fuel economy, performance and durability testing, and conformance to FMVSS and SAE standards are accomplished on the test facility’s: 7.5 mile test track; 50-acre vehicle dynamics area; 9,000 ft. skid pad; off-highway area; ride quality evaluation surfaces. Dynamic and simulated crash tests and component level tests are conducted in the impact laboratory in accordance with most FMVSS standards. TRC’s 4WD mobility and light duty vehicle durability test courses and an undulating 1.5 mile asphalt road are available for wet and dry vehicle handling evaluations.
